Uptown Theatre Napa/Covid-19 Policy

The Uptown Theatre Napa is excited to remain open to welcome longtime loyal fans and newcomers alike, to the theatre. After careful consideration and with your safety in mind we are implementing the following COVID policy. We will be re-evaluating and, if needed, updating this policy based on the most recent information available from the CDC, state/local public health authorities, and Napa County. Not complying with the rules of this policy could lead to necessary action including having you exit the venue. 

The health and safety of fans, artists, and staff is our number one priority as we bring the best of live music and comedy back to our beautiful theatre. Committed to this priority, all persons in the venue will need to show proof of being fully vaccinated (i.e., 2 weeks + have passed since the attendee has received the single-dose vaccine or the 2nd dose in a two-dose series). We will accept one of the following for proof of full vaccination for venue entry: 

CDC Vaccination Card w/ matching photo ID (if a minor, then legal guardian’s photo ID) (photos will be accepted) OR a CA Digital Vaccine Card. 

We will no longer accept a negative COVID test (PCR or Rapid Test) as a substitute for vaccination. 

COVID-19 TICKET POLICY*

In accordance with California’s current guidelines, attendees will need to agree to the following terms prior to purchasing tickets and entering The Uptown Theatre Napa:  

By purchasing tickets, you agree that you will have been fully vaccinated to enter the building. You expressly agree to comply with all Federal, State, and Local laws, ordinances, regulations, and the rules of The Uptown Theatre Napa while attending any event. These requirements will apply to ALL members of your party before they are allowed to enter the venue. 

COVID-19 CAPACITY POLICY*

The Uptown will be open at 100% capacity only. If state and/or local public health department mandates do not allow the theatre to open at full capacity, the theatre will not open for performances.

COVID-19 MASK POLICY* 

Per the City and County of Napa, MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED OF ALL ATTENDEES while attending events at The Uptown Theatre Napa. A non-vented N95 mask or other well-fitted mask is required to provide maximum protection. We will not allow any alternatives as masks including scarves, ski masks, balaclavas, bandanas, turtlenecks, collars or a single layer of fabric. Masks must be on at all times unless you’re actively drinking.

UPTOWN THEATRE STAFF AND CONTRACTORS

The Uptown staff and our contractors are all fully vaccinated and boosted if eligible and will wear face coverings at all times while at the venue. Employees are responsible for using safe work practices, following all directives, policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment and a safe environment for our guests.

PROOF OF VACCINE

To ensure a faster, easier entry into the show, we are recommending Health Pass by CLEAR to verify your proof of vaccination.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE CLEAR APP AND OBTAIN YOUR HEALTH PASS

  1. Download the CLEAR app and enroll for FREE.
  2. Tap the BLUE DIGITAL VACCINE TILE, follow the prompts.
  3. Load your CA Digital Vaccination Card, CDC Vaccine Card. To access your CA Digital Vaccination Card please visit myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov.
  4. Get your personalized QR code for easy entry.

Proof of vaccination and wearing a mask is now the only way to attend a show at the Uptown Theatre, Napa. 

We will accept as proof one of the following: 

CDC Vaccination Card (photos will be accepted) with photo ID

CA Digital Vaccine Card with photo ID if no photo on the app.
